Why are you releasing this?
This game is part of the "Tale of the Golden Lilly" series (TGL), which I made as a sort of writing exercise in 2023. It was originally a joke crackfic, but long story short, it is being released for sunk cost fallacy and lore reasons.

Tale of the Golden Lilly was originally meant to be three games, two DLC, and one epilogue. I only ended up making the first game and the DLC; concepts of 2 and 3 exist. You can play it interchangeably. I will release plot details on the second and third game at popular request. The epilogue is relatively stand-alone and I didn't scrap that.

Why do they still have the names of other anime characters (even though it was edited for public release)?
It'll all make sense when you reach the ending of TGL. (please give me time to finish editing it lol)

Please don't criticize the characters as being out of character, this isn't exactly the same as the original fanfic anymore (it's technically not a fanfic anymore), even though they still keep the names and appearances of those characters.

For legal reasons, this is a derivative work. I do not own the rights to the names of certain characters referenced; all rights go to the original copyright owners.

Is this canonical to Gray White Black?
Just read it to find out. None of the copyright-violating elements of TGL exist in GWB. For legal reasons.

You can read Independent Audit either before or after TGL, even though TGL is currently not fully released.
